What is the Drug/Gang Violence School Tour Seminar?

“Voices from the Streets” is a 100% real-talk Drug/Gang Violence School Tour Seminar about life on the streets with real life experiences from motivational speaker Tyrone Bridges and associates.

The primary goal of this seminar is introducing students to real life reality from people who have real life up and personal experience aimed to promote change in behavior. Participants uncover new ways of analyzing situations and are challenged to reconsider the prevailing acceptance of violence as an everyday norm.

They also learn that building a stronger and positive lifestyle is beneficial in achieving their goals, while building and strengthening a better community for us all.

Behavior Workshop (BWs) founded in June of 1994 by Tyrone Bridges in recognition of the need to reach out and help youth who are struggling in school. Today’s youth are bombarded with a variety of risk factors including drugs, alcohol, and a search for guidance.

Mr. Bridges own real-life experiences with drugs and gang violence and his life story is a testimonial to the younger population to take charge of their lives by using personal strengths and motivational tools to encourage change.

Mr. Bridges realized lack of a father figure played a significant role in his own life combined with socioeconomic problems contributed to his incarceration. He is very determinated to provide at-risk youth with different opportunities with positive role models, alternative lifestyles and education thru computer training so they can make better choices and provide youth with a positive transition to adulthood.

Mr. Bridges is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the youth of Southeastern Michigan.
